1st XV Away to Preston Grasshoppers – Saturday 12th April 2025

This Saturday, Lymm are away at Preston Grasshoppers, who have surprisingly struggled this season and could still, if results went against them, end up being relegated.

Preston are currently on a 6 match losing streak andneed to pick up league points over the next two games, or else they could see themselves being overhauled and end up in bottom place.  They, therefore, will be desperate for the win on Saturday.

In the reverse fixture in December Lymm ran out 42 – 29 winners, but away last season Lymm lost 42 – 46, so another high scoring thriller might be in prospect.

Lymm, for their part, will be keen to carry on where they left off last Saturday, and another fast open game is in prospect on the 4G pitch.  Kick-off is 14.30.
