Lymm RFC run an academy for U16 (year 11), U17 (Junior Colts year 12) and U18 (Senior Colts year 13) teams with combined coaching resources and support including from the Senior team.

This season (2023/24) there are no Senior Colts at Lymm. However any Under 18 players are welcome to attend the Academy training sessions with the Junior Colts and/or Senior players.

The Junior Colts compete in the Halbro NW Leagues.

The Senior 1st XV team compete in the National League 2 North and the 2nd XV team in the NOWIRUL Halbro Premier League.

If you are looking to keep playing rugby or fancy a new start, come down and have a go.  We pride ourselves on playing fast-paced rugby in an inclusive fun environment which prepares players for university and senior rugby and LIFE!

We train and play on a state of the art RFU artificial pitch and compete widely across the North West. There are regular guest training sessions from some notable rugby experts including some Sale Sharks. If you were thinking of hanging up your boots or fancied getting a new pair why not come down and give it a go!

Training is every Tuesday at the following times:

Under 16’s – TBD

Junior Colts – TBD

Each session combines individual team training plus combined training with the age group above, for the Senior Colts for example they will do combined training with the Senior team, helping them to progress seamlessly to Senior rugby.

Newcomers are free to just turn up on a Tuesday. If you would like further information then please email the Team Managers.
