Lymm Reapers 33 – 50 IOM Nomads

Snakes & Ladders

Lymm Reapers welcomed Nomads (a touring side from the Isle of Man) to Beechwood on Saturday. With an average age of 47 Lymm knew this was going to be a test of age & experience against youth & vitality.

The game turned out to be a game of snakes and ladders – with Lymm slowing climbing the ladder (occasionally scoring great tries of their own) knowing that one mistake would lead to the “snake” and the prospect of watching some whippersnapper run the ball in from 60+ yards.

And so it turned out to be, that the dice hit snakes more than it did ladders, but a great game was had by all, with an eventual score line of 33-50.
