Dear Friends,
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have to share the sad news with you that our very special friend and a great stalwart of Lymm Rugby Club, Brenda Johnston passed away quietly in the early hours of Friday 3rd July 2020, in the arms of her “rock” PAJ.
PAJ and “Bren” have been members of the club from the start and have contributed so much and in so many ways over the intervening years. Bren has been our Bookkeeper, Prize Draw Queen, Barmaid, the “Mrs” to PAJ in his many exec roles, always first on the dancefloor leading the dancing, a founding member of Beechwood Ladies, the welcoming face at the top of the stairs for our Christmas Panto for many years and much more.
Bren will be fondly remembered for her “Live Life to the Full” attitude and never-ending smile and Bar Staff knew to have a “Pernod and Lemonade” ready for her when she arrived at the club. I am sure you will have your own special memories of a very wonderful woman; I know I do!
Our thoughts and prayers are with PAJ and their family at this very sad time.
Rest in Peace Bren, our lives are better for having known you!
