The Ladies of Beechwood were back with a bang on Saturday- or shall we say more of a Pop and a Fizz!
With the club freshly painted and looking bright and cheerful it was only right we christened it with a Ladies Lunch. We put the new in-house chef Peters’ skills to the test with 104 ladies and Oh Wow! did he deliver – with a three course meal worthy of any top class restaurant. Not to mention the excellent service and organisation from Club Manager Alan and his team who ensured the Prosecco and Cocktails continued flowing all afternoon.
Tables were dressed beautifully thanks to the sponsorship of our local businesses. Thank you to E. Smith and Son Plant Centre for the beautiful centre pieces, and Thank you to Bird & Bay Home and Gifts for the table favours and discount cards. Please support these local businesses as we couldn’t put on the events we do without them.
Our ladies were treated to an inspirational after lunch speech from Sale Sharks Women’s Teammates Vicky Irwin (Captain and Irish International Player) and Georgie Perrin Redding (Co Captain and USA International Player) proving to us that Rugby is no longer a Male dominated sport. Beechwood Ladies are now full of ideas so watch this space…
