AFTER a superb run of cheeky entertainment, this year’s Lymm Rugby Club Panto, ‘Spank & Stein’ raised a monster £40k for the Lymm Grass Roots Clubhouse Appeal.

The Lymm Panto, in its 33rd consecutive year, involved an eight-night run, entertaining an audience of over 1,500 and was deemed a huge success raising a record-breaking total.

“As we move into the next phase of development at Lymm Rugby Club, raising funds for our new clubhouse remains top of our agenda,’ commented Panto impresario Simon Plumb.

“The audience reaction was overwhelming and we are grateful for the huge support we get year-in, year-out. We have many fundraising initiatives planned through the year, so I would urge everyone to get involved and have a great time helping raise funds for such an important community project.”
