Mark Williams Signs for Lymm RFC

Lymm RFC are pleased to announce Mark Williams as the new forwards coach. Mark is currently the Head Coach of Liverpool John Moores university and the Forwards Coach for North of England U18s. Mark also has a wealth of playing experience in the National leagues. We all extend Mark a massive welcome to the club.

DOR Adam Fletcher commented: “Mark impressed us when we met, his passion and detail towards coaching came across in spades. He has a great knowledge of the game, especially the set piece and breakdown. I believe Mark will have a really positive impact on the forwards at the club. All the coaches are excited to start working with Mark.

Mark has worked with some of the best talent in the North in his role as forwards coach for the U18s and leads a successful university program. I’m positive he will be able to transfer his skills over to working in the National leagues.”

Mark also added his thoughts: “I’m really pleased to have been announced as Forwards Coach for Lymm. After a strong first season in National 2 North, I’m looking forward to being able to do my bit in helping the squad take the next step and progress up the league. Ive been impressed by the clubs culture and desire to operate as professionally as possible for a side at Level 4. I’m excited to help the players get the most out of their rugby experience.
