A contract with Platt Construction to build 4 new floodlit, all-weather, tennis courts in the Walled Garden at Lymm Rugby Club has been signed by the Lymm RFC Board. Enabling work to commence on 13th December whilst discharge of conditions consent from Warrington BC is awaited.
The construction project is estimated to take between 12 & 16 weeks. The target completion date is Easter 2023 in time for the 2023 season opening.
A detailed communication of the plans will be published on the Rugby Club and Manor Road Tennis Club websites in early January 2023.
A major marketing campaign to attract new tennis members will be launched in January and continue throughout the year to achieve our targets for 2023. This will be enhanced by the publication of a comprehensive coaching programme and the availability of Pay & Play for non-members to commence when the courts are open.
