Having played our cup final on Friday evening, Lymm U15s played out one final game before the end of the season v Stockport RUFC on the Cheshire Counties final day brilliantly hosted by Wirral RFC.
The game was played in a great spirit and some impressive rugby was on display from both sides.
Lymm took the opportunity to field all players from the squad not used in the final and they all put in strong performances demonstrating the strength of playing mixed ability teams throughout the season and having a strong squad who play the same style of rugby.
The final score was 45-7 to Lymm which rounded off a fantastic year for the boys who have all worked incredibly hard throughout the season.
After the game they were formally presented with the Cheshire Bowl by President of Cheshire RFU Denis Mahoney.
A fitting end to a fantastic season. Thanks to all the players, parents and my fellow coaches for making this a season to remember. Roll on 2023/24 season!
