Bev Scott-Herron enters ‘Strictly St Rocco’s’
Author: Simon Plumb
Hi all
I am delighted to share with you that I have been selected to take part in Strictly St. Rocco’s. This is an enormous, terrifying, exciting undertaking, and I am doing so because I want to raise as much money as I possibly can for this amazing charity.
Taking part in Strictly St Rocco’s means so much more to me than learning to dance. It’s about supporting a remarkable charity that provides compassionate care and dignity to people and families facing life-limiting illness.
As a Headteacher, I’m passionate about being a positive role model—showing young people the importance of resilience, stepping outside your comfort zone, and giving back. This challenge does exactly that!!
I am doing this because I want to give back, and I’d love for you to be part of my journey. With your support, we can all make a real difference to the lives of so many.
I now embark on professional dance lessons (so excited) and the hard dance work will culminate in a competition at Haydock Racecourse in front of over 400 people. My fundraising however, starts right now, so please can I have your help. If you can donate anything at all I will be genuinely delighted and grateful.
Please donate by visiting: St Rocco’s Hospice: Strictly Dancers 2026
You can see my Introductory video on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/AX2ffaMa–Y (Please watch until the very end)
Thank you in advance for all your help.
Best wishes
