We are sad to report the death of Harvey Thornton who passed away on Monday 2nd August 2021, aged 74.
He first joined the club in 1964, playing for the Colts team and went on to play 1st XV. He became Club Chairman from 1999 until 2003, before moving out of the area to live in Herefordshire.
We send our deep condolences to his his wife Jean and daughter Gemma.
Harvey’s funeral will take place at Walton Lea Crematorium on Saturday 14th August at 12noon.
The family welcomes Harvey’s friends from the Rugby Club to attend and then join them for refreshments at The Stag Inn, Walton.
