The Club is sad to announce that past player Sam Hoyle has passed away.
Sam played in the second row in the 70’s and early 80’s and was Lymm’s first County Cap, when he played for Cheshire against Staffordshire in 1977. He was probably one of the best second rows to play at the Club and a popular, larger than life character.
Our thoughts and sincere condolences go out to Sam’s wife, Lindsey, his daughter Rachel and the rest of Sam’s family.
Sam’s funeral will take place on Tuesday 21 May at 4.30pm at Charnock Richard Crematorium, and afterwards at Chorley Golf Club.
