Ladies and Gentlemen, after what has been an exciting few weeks for our sport with magnificent series wins for England in Australia, and Ireland in New Zealand, it is time to start thinking about our own season at Lymm RFC.
Pre-season training has started and it is inevitable that we shall all lose a few pounds over the summer months, as we wither and fade in the latest heat waves. Do not worry we have a plan!!
A new order has been formed; ‘The Blazers’, qualification for which is that you must have in your possession, or at some point in your rugby life, worn a club blazer of whatever vintage, the older the better, and showing ‘evidence of character’!
The new shy and retiring Lymm Blazer-wearing brigade will no doubt be among the first to step up!
The ‘Blazer’ order will meet every Saturday home game lunchtime for a splendid three course meal, provided by Alan Troy, our new Club Manager, at 1.30pm, for a 3pm KO, accompanied by fun and friendship, recounting tales from games gone by, washed down with copious amounts of the demon drink.
The price for your pleasure will be £25 per person, which includes the price of game admission plus a match day programme, and all the banter we can muster, including the heckling of our guest speakers.
We can accommodate around 50 guests for each game and tables of 10 guests would appear to be the preference but any number can be accommodated for, providing the booking is made early enough. Your invited guests need not wear a blazer!

Invoices can be presented with any appropriate wording to meet your requirements, and should you wish to sponsor a particular game or match day ball we can also build this in to meet your budget!
